God’s Sovereignty
looking for winding road
What is life that I must know?
It is a slow, winding road with troubles, stress, and unrest.
We each have a path to travel to get to our destination in life.
How will I travel this road of life?
What must I do, and what must I sacrifice?
Each step must be planned, with obedience to His guidance being the key to our journey, which comes from His loving hand.
He will preserve my going out and my coming in.
This will surely keep me far away from the darkness and the death of sin.
Yes, life is a winding road filled with trials and adventures, but which way will it lead?
To the path which will cause me to want to flee or
to the path of the providence of God’s plan,
Which has been designed for me with His mighty, loving hand.
A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON.
No one knows what the future holds, but God does.
Sovereign Lord, I need you so much. I have never lived this day before, so I don’t know what to do. Please help me to understand how to live each day.
