The race is on; how well will you do?
Others in the race will make every possible effort to do their best, and what about you?
The prize is the focus, but who will win?
However, this race is about competing against sin.
You must be in training to be transformed for change to take place.
This is an incredible challenge for the whole human race.
No longer allowing old and bad behaviors be in charge, causing you to sin.
No longer demanding your rights and that things must go your way, refusing to give in.
This is the challenge that your faith in Christ will enable you to win.
Transformation will take time as you prepare for the race.
As you become like Christ, in heaven you will have a winner’s place.
A THOUGTH TO REFLECT ON
Discipline your mind to stay focused on Christ.
PRAYER
Jesus, help me to focus on being transformed into the person You want me to become.
